The President Speaks:
Great weekend catching up and supporting Moreton Bay Chapter in their Dice Run and Bike Show. Needs to be more of it, with all Patriots Chapters supporting each other.
The year is quickly coming to an end, with a few important events and runs still to complete. The big one coming up is our Run on 22 Nov 08. All Chapter members are reminded this is our commemoration of 'Clarkie' run, and attendance is expected.
Both the Vice President (FANG) and I will be attending the NAGM in Blackheath NSW during the period 5-7 Dec. Then we have our last event on 13-14 Dec, our breakup and Xmas Bash. This will also include our last meeting until Jan 09. Importantly, we will also vote on membership for our three new members, FORDY, MOOSE and ZEPP, as thier prospect period will be up before our next meeting in Jan 09. We'll make this a Xmas present for them. Goto 'What's Happening' for details.
See you all on 22 Nov, and certainly on 13 Dec for the Xmas breakup.

History of Patriots Australia
The Patriots are a motorcycle club for serving and ex-serving members of the Defence Forces (Army, Navy and Air Force).
The Patriots have been around since 1993 and were established because at one time or another, most of us would have liked to join an established club, but found that due to constant postings, this became difficult to achieve.
The Australian (15 Chapters) and New Zealand chapters are both run in strict accordance within the Department of Defence guidelines. We do not allow drugs or violence and we believe the non-sexist policy promoted by the Department of Defence.
We are a family oriented club and as such invite serving and ex-serving members to happily bring along their families to our events.
The club has grown to the stage now, that we have a chapter or sub-chapter in all but two state's of Australia and there are chapter's in New Zealand also! We have Patriot friends in both the United Kingdom and United States who also provide the same welcome to members worldwide and we have a honorary member in Wyoming, USA.
